Resident Of California Found In Abandoned Foreclosed Home A Female’ skeleton
April 1st, 2009

A resident of California was found in an abandoned foreclosed home accompanied by a couple of cats, quite a number of opossums, a raccoon along with a females’s skeleton. Los Angeles police have discovered the body – the skeleton rather – of an aged woman. It seemed that she had been dead for roughly two years. Her skeleton was found in an abandoned home which had been a victim to foreclosure. She had lived there with her son who was 48 years old. Officials have made an effort to discover the identity the aforementioned lady. They have reason to believe her name was Barbara Hunt and she could have been close around 86 years of age. According to media reports, it is believed that Barbara’s son, named Robert Hunt was residing at his home in North Hollywood when the police in charge had arrived at the scene. But Hunt is not yet in the police’s custody.
Craig Harve is a spokesman for the Los Angeles coroner. According to Harve, it was difficult for the authorities to determine the cause of death. Barbara’s skeleton was found on the bed in a room towards the back entrance of the house. Craig said that he believed that Barbara Hunt had died a couple of years back – maybe in 2006. The concerned authorities entered the Hunts’ home on Monday evening. They had been notified by a mortgage broker. He said that the abandoned property would pass on to the concerned bank at midnight after it would go into foreclosure. The police had found Robert Hunt in the home, which was immensely dirty, untidy and full of a lot of rubbish. Besides, to add to the mess, there were about 26 cats, roughly 3 opossums and also a raccoon! This is based on a report found on the LA Daily News website.
The bottom line of all this is that California is one of the worst victims suffering in the foreclosure crisis, which is practically eating the nation up. In this economic crisis, mortgage lenders take possession of homes when the buyers cannot keep up with the mortgage payments. This of course is leading to a downfall in the United States real estate market and also the current credit market condition.
